I only added a black and white gradient map on multiply. They were already monotone.

With the soft brush set the layer to overlay or color dodge depending on what color and how you want it to look.

I really like the effect that it has, with the guy standing there. BG looks good, looks a bit lonely, which is really good, it has a good style.
Not crazy about the text, maybe try a sans-serif font. :P
