The first one was from a tutorial right? Anyways, in the second one, i think it would look cool if the c4d was blended in more. Like the effect by his arm though.

Yeah that first one is from an Advanced Glow Effect Tutorial. You did a pretty good job but the lines need more curve to them, they are a bit jerky, if you know what I mean.

The second one looks good too, but the C4D is a bit obvious, try doing what Breakdown said, and blend it in a little bit. Also play around with more than one C4D so that you can get some depth into the background.

I agree some tutorials will help you. Right now it looks like you want to work on sigs a bit more so i suggest trying out a few tutorials.

The top one is okay but not really unique at all.
The second two need work. The c4d is badly blended in and seems to be the only other part of the sig aside formt he render.

Nice, love the bg and the lines. Just not feeling the outer glows at all.

If it were me, i would make Two layers for your text and lines.

Take the first one and leave it. Put it ontop. With the second, put an outerglow on it in white, and rasterize it. Then put it under the other one and change blending mode so that the glow matches the bg

    If you get me!

    Nice composition though =D
