    Part of a series, looking at distance from reality.

    No processing.
    That isn't snow.
    That isn't rain.
    That isn't hail.
    That isn't sleet.
    My lens is clean.
    My sensor is clean.
    No filters used.
    This is from a digital SLR - No expired film.
    100 ISO, That isnt noise.
    2 Second exposure.


    Ill give you ten guesses each.

    i would guess it's a piece of lightly frosted glass, perhaps with a bit of lighting from behind the camera to get such sharp noise.

    i don't think its any sort of frosted glass or anything on the lens itself, or at least if it is it's cut of at the bottom. look at his second photo, there's blades of glass that are clear as can be... maybe even a little sharp.

    I have no idea what it is.. just trying to eliminate stuff.

    edit: maybe its the light moving..? can you capture light rays moving rob? xDDD

    i see what you mean.

    maybe a laser pointed into the lens?

    that might explain why it needs a 2 second exposure.
