    Nice work.

    I am seeing more and more scanline tags coming out of the blue (no pun intended).

    For me this is the best I have seen in some time great work. Love the brushing on the right adds something different to it.

    Actually, those are, err, a rendition of scanlines.

    They make X's instead of lines :P

    try erasing around the edges of the render.
    and then add some blur and c4d,s for depth i think the burn tool is the best

    A good one, I find, is using a black and white gradient map, set to multiply with around a 40-50% opactiy level.
