OKay so a few hints first off:
When you are downsizing your reder to fit the sig, make sure you hold down CTRL + shift. It will resize it fast and it willmake sure the render doesnt get warped liek it did in your sig.

Secondly. Try to stay aay from the reflecting text..atlest on sigs. it's not always bad but it defetnyl itsnt working on this one.

I like the use of the default looking font though, not bad.

Now the effects. I really dont see any. You added WAY to much contrast haha.
Next time you go into photoshop, go to window (or tools im not sure) and select hsitogram. Keep that at the bottom corner at all times.
You want your histogram to be basically level. It's okay for it to go a little on way or the other way and on sigs you can let it swing pretty far, but watch it because it will tell you when your overdoing contrast.

now, the sizing on this is HUGE. sigs are always easier to make look filled, if they are smaller. So next sig try out a sig size like 110x 360. that should be pretty sufficient and help you make your sigs look more filled.

i can tell there was a BG(background, learn that ackronym we use it a lot) at one point, becaus ei can see swirls at the top croner. But the contrast took on the BG everywhere else so i dont see any more of it.

I'd say try to take a tutorial or two, get your berrings on photohop and sig making. i think they'd help you a lot.

let me know if you need help.

I would try and C&C this more, but I would fail.
    To emphasize though:
    PAPA'S C&C FTW. KAY?

Oh and yes. over contrasted + odd text (the music part, the scribble bit is actually pretty nice)
Needs some eye catching effects that don't look overly grainy... the whole sig atm looks overlly grainy.
Good work for your first though, I see some nice experimentation in there
