    virus software would be a good one, but she may have installed software that a virus buster wont get... also try adaware or spybot to clean up stuff. download microsofts beta anti spy software detector (its quite good actualy).

    but more information on the nature of the problem would help.

    Try to gte antivirus software first. Then if it thats unavailable use system restore. If that dosen't work try using hijack this! and goto www.cybertechhelp.com and ask them to look at your logs. They will zap those viruses for you! And if all else fails.. backp ure psds and pics and reformat and install windows...or linux

    Reformat her computer and start fresh. Even if you install anti-viral software there is a high chance it won't even be detected in full.

    I always suggest a full reformat to prevent any further damage.

    Everyone in my grade doesn't believe Linux is that good.

    EDIT: How do you make a partition outside of Windows? Partition Magic doesn't work
