The quoted message at the bottom of this post describes how new member introductions used to work, but that has changed.

In order to have your account upgraded and be able to access all the forum areas on GFXVoid you need to post a new discussion thread in our Introductions forum.

Posting into this thread or in other threads which are not your own will no longer work for activating and unlocking the rest of the forums for new accounts (you will receive a no permissions message if you try).

You are welcome to post messages into introduction threads made by other members, but will only be able to do so after your own account is activated/upgraded.

This change was made on May 5, 2010.

New accounts cannot post messages or threads in any other section of GFXVoid until they have at least 1 message posted in the Introductions forum.

If you would prefer to not post a thread introducing yourself, feel free to bump this thread to skip the intro.

Note: It may take up to 1 hour after posting your first message before your account is promoted to the next account level. The next account level will enable you to post in all the forums on gfxvoid.com
