    Default Oompa Loompa

My first serious digital painting, focusing on skin textures and all that good stuff. Any comments or constructive crits are welcome, new to this whole thing.

    WOW.

That face is awesome. Skin looks sick. Nice texture and tones. It looks very creepy!! Excellent.

Only thing I would say is the bone structure looks extremely odd. It's almost as if they are too caved in. This makes the back of the cheek bones flare out and it looks sort of awkward, in knowing that behind the cheek bones, there is nothing to fill the space. So if they were flaring out that far, it would appear that they are detached from the face. That's the only thing I see that looks a bit awkward. Everything else is spot on. Details under the eyes look great, shading is good. Gj,

I actually did this to compliment one of adonihs' pieces that inspired me of Willy Wonka entitled Wonka Experiment in which the cheeks are quite similar to my OL. This was before I decided to add all the details and make it more of a realistic piece. No excuses, obviously I should have fixed that when I converted it to more of a realism piece, just letting you know that's why it's like that I just never fixed it.

The bright portions are what I'm referring to. The inside of the cheeks looks somewhat believable and true to form, but the extremely pointy bones on the outside really erk me. :P

Don't mean to get gritty, if I seem to come off as such. That's the only part I don't like. The left (his right) looks more rounded and natural, but the right (his left) seems almost chopped and octagonal.

If I weren't lazy I would have :P, in comparison to the face I pretty much speed painted the clothes so I guess it would be beneficial to spend a bit more time on them.

    Thanks mate.
