Homer signatures - Warm up for SoTW.

Hey guys. New signature, was just a little muck around so I could start working on SoTW signature later on tonight, I'm off out to watch the new X-Men Origins: Wolverine now.
First time I've used 2 renders on one piece of work. Not my best but my next one will shock you all...hopefully.
Anyways.

Supposed to be close as pressing "Enter" on text makes it look too gappy. Thanks for the comment though.
EDIT: I don't suppose anyone could help me on borders when I get back please? I can't figure it out..

That hand doesn't look like it belongs to Homer. Or did you intend for it to be like that?

hmm, BG is very nice, but the render so doesnt fit in, hehe

imo some of the effects don't go with the render. every homer tag i've seen has simplicity and they look great that way. maybe try toning it down a little.

Yeah, it was just a little play around, get used to some of the tools again. But my next piece will shock you all.
Oh, I've seen X-Men Origins: Wolverine. For anyone who hasn't seen it - I strongly recommend it, it's absolutely brilliant.
