In Flames Tribute

Well this is my new sign. It's a tribute to my favorite band In Flames (Swedish, Melodic Death Metal Band). I really dont know what to think about it. What do you think? Please tell me if I should change something.

um the difference filter on the pen tool is not working for me, netither the text
and i dont see any flames there (just talkign abt therelation ofconcepts XD)
the image and the bg blend well, its like i m seeing a shadow on a wall buit its looking nice.

first Dont ever use filter gallery. there arent any good effects there to use.
I think you over sharpened some places there.
plus, text need some work.
I dont know about stock/render, If I didnt know what is it, I woulnd understand.
I suggest you to see some tutorials out here

dont ever use filters? What about sharpen and blur. ANd what about gaussian blur. Hell diffuse isnt too bad either.
I would say use it sparingly.

IMO thwe BG is oversharpened and a bit bland. Render is in a good spot compo wise. You have soe decent depth going but would like to see some more effects.
The inflames text is a bit harsh. Would have liked to see a different color. Something not as pur. Like a grayish color or something.

Overall not bad, but needs work.

Drenched in fear is great.

Well I would sya the most are bad but not all, like Papa's saying use them sparingly. Yepp Ill look into some tuts, already find some good to ''study'' later XP. Thanks for comment

Yea, I know, I almost always oversharp, thats cuz I love sharpen and I have to learn no to over use :P I'll see into finding a better colour, Like you are saying a grayer colour should work better. Thanks for comment

you got owned by yourself.
Blur, sharpen, etc is in filters, but not in filter gallery.
neon glow galss efects. useless.
and they are in filter GALLERY

well i say u can use the filter gallery only to maybe an applied image, and then overlayed or something, sometimes u can make cool effects, but other than that dont use nething from the filter gallery

...as for sharpening, i used to love sharpening my sigs too, but to me it was a phase and eventually, like me, i think ull look back and hate yourself lol :P

in flames is awesome, pretty decent job text needs some work i like the pentool work
