First Photography Attempts

Hey, My dad is a semi professional photographer so he carries a camera everywhere we go. Anyway, I thought I'd try my hand at it so when we went to New York i borrowed an old digital camera of his and had a go. These are my best 5 in my opinion.

I am sure it was my first time, But as I said my Dad is always taking photo's so I've had a load of them to look at and I suppose I picked a little up by doing it.
I'll have to invest in a DSLR at some point

Went to the Imperial War Museum with School today so i brought my camera along and took a few. Might as well post them up.

remember the rule of thirds some of them have it, some of them dont imo.

Im yet to learn the rule of thirds. Im completely guessing that its there shouldnt be more than 3 focals in one picture?
What editing can i do? I already did a bit. Levels, curves, straightening and b&c.
