After practising it with a tut I found, I decided to do my own thang and add my own touches. I followed some of the tut but did some pieces on my own. Anyone who can guess the tut will be given +rep from me Give me your insight.

not feelin this one man, not too great to be honest
repeated edge + the pink before it needs to go
clean up her face, and once you do that give her shoulders at least, FHS
you have... one effect that can stay + the text, the little red thing on the side.. and maybe a little bit of the thing on her hair if thats not already part of the stock/render
the text isn't bad, it works since there's so much empty space, i like it in the second more, blends better
rework this one, def needs it, but the text is nice!! XD soz mang

sorry man, i see the makings of some decent effects.. but they cant be covering your focal, they just cant
and the repeated edge doesn't work with so few effects, and the pink line makes it look like there's something wrong with my screen, sooo out of place

Get an effective BG, use some brushes like splatters just below the face, and get some lighting going!
