Okay, since some people who are new to photoshop dont know how exactly to make a popout, so I thought i'll write a tutorial on it.

    1. Start a new document, I started with size 400x150

    2. Rename the background layer to layer 0
    3. Get your render, expand your canvas height, I set it to 200, scale down your render, heres what ive got so far:
    4. Dublicate your render layer, and hide the dublicate.( make sure the render is exactly where u want it to be in the end)
    5. On the original layer, go to blending options>color overlay, color white, blend mode normal, opacity 100. Then go to Layer>merge down.
Here's what I've got at this point:

    6. Create a new layer, and make your background, or if u have it already done, then dont create a layer, just bring it into this document(make sure its big enough)
    heres what i got:

    7. Change ur layer order to this:

and Press ctrl+g or right click=>create clipping mask to mask
It should look like this now

    8. Merge layer 0 and layer 2
    9. Unhide your render, DO NOT move it
    10. For blending, I desaturated it and set the blend mode to hard light. You can do what you want, this is not a blending tutorial.
    heres what I've got now:

    11. Slap on some text and add anything u want to add.
    12. On the layer palette, click+ctrl on the layer 0, create a new layer, right click and select stroke, and add a a stroke. I put color black, opacity 100% and inside, width 1 and blend mode normal. Make sure this layer is your top one.
    13. At this point, just to make sure nothing else than the render is popping out, mask everything to the layer 0, ctrl+g, or right click=> create clipping mask to mask em.
    heres what ive got:

    14. Then just crop out any useless grid-stuff and save as .png from the drop down menu and select interlaced.

    heres what i got

    SAVE AS .PNG!
