    Default Something brand new...

I was following the Tuts and getting frustrated that my results never... felt right. So I did this.

colors are really over saturated. personally im not too keen on applying a filter over the entire tag. to me it looks tacky when it's done.

1 thing i will commend you on is knowledge of basic composition. finally a tag without a cenetered focal lol.

    Welcome to the Void.

I think the angled brush strokes and colours are a bit much. They overpower the sig and make it hard to view. Your text is also a but unusual because of the horizontal lines.
I would suggest reducing the angled strokes and tone down the saturation so that they are a more natural tone.

If you need a tutorial, I have a link in my sig to the tutorials section.

basics are what gets us started and are still used to apply into more advanced techs.

good start tag. and good stuff not following the tut and making ur own stuff : > thats what a real hairy and manly gfxer does haha.

anyway only thing i suggest is tone down the saturation like nutter suggested to give the tag a more natural/realistic feel and the filter look isnt pleasant to anyones eyes :\ its quite straining especially when it combos with the saturations. lets perform a combo breaker and add some depth to the tag : > but this stuff is all down the road just keep trying dood. everyone here is glad to help.
