I think it looked better as a vert. The render was too choppy on the edges.

I also like my sigs to be a bit sharper then usual. For Anime, it works really well and crisp.
I also tried various strengths for the border, but they had issues with visibility and the background.
I do agree with the text though. Even tried pink, but it was either hard to read or too eye catching.
