First Sig

So, this is my first sig. Been trying to find what to do and stuff. tell me what you think. Thanks =)

This one came out darker than I expected it to....

This one, I wanted to have the top and bottom background see-through (where its white)and middle with a plain background. Just trying it out, if you know how to do it please tell me. Thanks!

to get it to be transparent, when you start a new canvas go down to Background and click transparent. that should work.!

And you must save it as .png if you aren't already. This will do 2 things to your tags:
- Improve the quality of the image
- Make the white parts transparent
For your first signatures these are pretty good. You have a lot of potential - just keep messing around for now and then start reading up on some tutorials to expand your knowledge.

im sensing that u followed a tutorial theres no way u just went in photoshop and made a sig for the first time and come out with that its impossible
but if u did follow a tutorial then i wouldnt say good job for your first sig i mean any one can just follow a tutorial its easy but i guess good job on following a tutorial

wow...its still for a first, even if he did follow a tut. you still need some type of knowledge base of photoshop and such. awesome encouragement.

Well... I guess if it was from a tutorial I'd give it an average, even if it is your first one.

Why does it matter if its really first or not, the point is to improve whatever it is and it can only be done by encouraging

From the looks of it, I can see that it's a fairly simple signature and it is within the boundaries of a new comer. It doesn't matter if he followed a tutorial or not. As long as he is able to start producing quality art, he is doing well.
Tutorials aren't the only way to learn how features work, although they do help alot.
