I just found these to make my blood boil, are there any ones specifically that enrage our white population? I also found it interasting that many of these were from politicians.

    Both eyes.
    You deserve this kind
    Of violence.
    No more vicious
    Tongues, obscene
    Lies.
    Just a knife
    Slitting your tight
    Little heart.
    For all my people
    Under your feet
    For all those years
    Lived smug and wealthy
    Off our land
    Parasite arrogant
    A fist
    In your painted
    Mouth, thick
    With money
    And piety

Whats the point of that? Those people are just expressing their opinions and beliefs on history of the treatment of blacks by whites? Some other comments are prejudiced and pure racist.

America is a free country is it not? Therefore with freedoms you get people saying things like that! They are free to express their opinions and thoughts about other races even though they may seem racist to you.

Just as you found many black/white people talking bad about white people im sure if you looked you will find just as many comments about black people as there is about whites.

I think any racist comments towards anyone really hurts the human race. I understand that people can say what they want when they want, but I don't think its cool at all that people can say such hateful things.

I dont like it either but.... when people have the freedom of speech you are going to get people who are going to say things which arent always the most positive.

Agreed. It was bound to happen sooner or later anyways. But like taco said, it just hurts the human race each time they are said, read, spread through common knowledge etc etc etc.

I also suspect that quite a few of those comments where taken out of context without any understanding of what the flow of conversation was.

I agree that racist comments shouldn't be tollerated, but i don't beleive in censorship also. This is a very hard area that places like Germany battle with every day, I know its a very grey area (no pun intended).

Thank god that the people here have open minds. Reading the original post I just got this distinct feeling that someone was trying to ignite the flames of hatred again.

As a white dude, obviously it cuts to hear shit like that being said about my people, but as a human being first, its easy to see why people wouldnt like us as a race. Realistically, we are the cause of the hardship that every other race in the world has had to endure. Slavery is the most prominent example but I think even more disturbing is what europeans did when they migrated to North America. Essentially systematically slaughtering an entire civilization. No amount of money can make up for that, and ANYONE who gripes about the breaks that Native Americans get should seriously reconsider their priorities, and then consider the possibility of their entire extended family and everyone that they know being killed simply because someone new wants to move in.

Ok thats my rant lol everyone have a nice day. =D

I was with Tabloid, I thought for sure this would just turn into a racist flame war...

Racism of any kind shows extreme ignorance, not just ignorance of humanity but also of history. I'm white...really really white. Like 90% irish. My father is pure bread irish, this is the first generation to break the chain. So when someone says "white people" I have no idea who they're talking about. The irish were oppressed far worse than the Africans, and it happened hundreds of years before the big American slavery wave. The spanish enslaved us, the british enslaved us...tossing babies off of rocky cliffs while their mothers were forced to watch. Some really really horrible stuff. Before there was "No Blacks" signs in shop windows there were "No Irish" signs. And that was only...150-200 years ago. Every nation in the world has been oppressed at some point in time. It's a fact of life and that's fine with me, but generalizing by skin color...where does that come from? My ancestors never owned African slaves, my ancestors _were_ slaves. Yet I get lumped into that category of evil slave owning white man.

Hell, the African's had it the best of all the enslaved people to date, in my opinnion. At least they were given a value, as a commodity. Previously enslaved peoples were enslaved because they had not other use for them, if they weren't slaves they were dead. The Native Americans in south america for instance, the irish, the jews, the scottish, every small island chain in the world. Slavery and oppression are nothing new.

I'm sure the aussies around here can relate.

I'm not really sure what the point of my post here is... just stating facts I guess. Everyone should get over the race thing, especially the COLOR thing. Just because someone's pale doesn't mean they owned slaves, just because someones dark doesn't mean they have ancestors that were slaves.

Sorry about this post...lol. I get alittle crazy with the whole racism thing. My "minority" friends learn quickly not to bring up the race card, because I don't just sit there and nod like a good white boy.

Thank god we dont live in the age of serfdom. Slavery has been around for a long time, since way before recoreded history, though serfdom was an extension of the idea of slavery. Instead of slaves you have a fudeal system which justifies the existance of serfs based on the idea that only the educated nobles can have any idea about how best to look after them.

I reckon the whole concept was a self moralising idea crystalised by the thinkers that were involved in the system. Also a good excuse as to why your king dick and everyone else lives in the sh*t.

The Irish and the Scotts got a pretty raw deal, though I suspect that the Irish got it worse. Funny enough I have Irish and Scottish ancestory, though many many generations ago.

I think the thing that is amazing is the ability of people to act so 'inhuman' and be able to justify it with their own brand of logic and moralising. Often its just selfishness to the nth degree dressed up to look pretty.
