V2 for me is the better.
I loke the smudge settings you have used gives something different to the tag.
Maybe add some nice c4ds maybe yellow or orange dots into it to give it that extra something.

The centered focal really pulls down the compo of the tag, try to blend him more. It feels very depth-less too.

i explained the smudge settings allready at my ironman sig. lol.
this is what i said about it:
smudge setting are no secret, actually they are very simple.
to make flames or hard edged clouds, you need a verry small round hard brush, and make small (mostly circulair) movements. (just takes a lot off practice lol). keep changing the size of the brush every now and then. You might go down 1 or 2 % in opacity sometimes for a softer part.
for the soft smudge, just go a little bigger in brush and make it soft, lower the opacity to somewhere in between 90/100 % again make small movements, but stroke m in the flow direktion this time. Vary in size/hardness and stokelength constantly to keep it lively!!
it is just a lot off work actually, but i like the results!!
have fun!!
From scratch, just smudging the XL way
