Ok the colors in the BG dont fit with the cut/render.
Maybe take a nice Stock for the BG and blur it.
Then make a gradient map to align the cut with the BG.
Maybe take a C4D and bring some parts of it in the BG and blur it and smaler parts of the same C4D in the front of the cut and sharpen them.
Look at the Cut/Render where the Light is coming from...put there with a soft, round, white Brush a light source and darken the other side.

i dont like the bg color, or the render honestly (its got bad colors).

you need to take your time and use more than just 1 c4d. put the c4d into your sig, move it how you want it, and erase parts that dont fit, then add more c4ds and do the same with them= this will create much better effects than just 1 c4d behind his head. also set them so screen (if you arnt already) it will help with opacity and colors.

for the bg, try starting off with the two colors in your render (black and teal) use the gradient map tool with the circle settings and put it behind him, make the teal circle behind him (like a teal glow) and then get the smudge tool, with your favorite settings and smudge out the circle. from there, add your c4ds like i said before.

hope this helps some. keep working
