Simple text tutorial
I know a lot of the newer graphics designers have issues with there text so here is a short tutorial I made that explains how to make good looking simple text that fits with almost any signature.

nice tut lol but how do you find that certain text to use for a signature or design that you are creating.... is their a trick do you just have to do it by eye..thats what really gets me..

Depends on many things, like the kind of signature or if it appeals or fits into your work..
Typography is one of the finest art in the graphic industry and it's not easy to learn it.

With text, simple is usually better. Don't go overboard with fonts.. stick to ones like arial, times new roman, etc. As you work, your text will often get much better without you realising.. but I'll give you a bit of a hint towards my usual text..
A layer on soft light or overlay, duplicated repeatedly will often give a really nice simple text effect. Try things such as a 'cut out' region where your text goes back to an earlier layer, as well.. Something different but simple will work wonders.

hmmmm guess i better stop using that crazy text stuff then cuz it never really fits...
