    I like it. Would like to see some more H.R. Geiger style to it though (if you don't know who Geiger is, he's the artist who designed the creature).

    I think the topaz blends really well with the tag, I'm not too fond of the colors but everything else makes up for it. :]

    As for your light source, if you look at your render, it looks as if there's a light hitting on top of its head, where that orange-ish color is. Select the eyedropper tool and pick that color, then pick a soft brush and brush there(chose 45 maybe 65px brush), then set it on linear dodge. Move it around to your liking and lower opacity if needed.

    Nice, but it's maybe a bit too subtle, try to liven it up by makin' yet another light source(below the one set on linear dodge), but use white this time, don't change the layer opacity nor blending this time though.

    um... how? when I set the white paint to linear dodge, it still is white... its not glowing...
