Basic logo

Just something I made from some new techniques I discovered. Photoshop CS 2 is very handy indeed. Anyway this may be a logo for a future site of mine, that is why it says coming soon. The glow maybe too much on the shape, thats just an example, its on transparent background so i can do anything with it.

the glow's not really annoying.
I love the gradient and glow on the font. very nice.
What new techniques with cs2? should I be looking for a torrent of it? :P

very nice and basic effect i like it...tho that text could be diff evenesence is gettin old soz...its kinda fits but try somthin more techy

its not new db just look at there are tuts....hold on i think its called tech ring tut or somthin it shows u somthin like this but im guessin cc just simplified it and used other styles as well

Well the techniques are new to me, just I could find them easier in CS2. The font kinda its but im not sure about it also, may try a pixel font or a technoid font. I felt i was limited with free transform so i looked through the menus and found transform > distort, it allowed me to drag each anchor (corner) into whatever shape i liked. Took a while to get the hang of it but i dragged the image and found something I liked.

I used this technique to make another logo.
