    Well i made i pretty much the same way as i did with my water signature, exept the gridlines.

    Lighter version:

    Even More Lighter:
    Noooooo! My old signature is gone! Gone forever!!!

    whoa its a little blurry..maybe due to the lines....eh well i dunno its different alright ^_^

    the reflection technique you used is usually for when you want text to appear as if it is sitting on a surface rather than in front of one. maybe if you messed with the perspective of the grid lines you could achieve this (if that is the effect you're going for). otherwise you wouldn't get a reflection of something that was just sitting in front of a background.

    i like the mirror effect alot, and the lightest one is the best IMO. great job.

    I tried to make it look like it's under a surface, but i try to make it more convincing about that.

    I changed the reflection of the text so it's under the chrome reflection layer:
