I think you need to work on your lightning.
Place a lightning source and use theburn and dodge tool.
Your render looks too dark... but I like your text.

I'm really liking the aoutcome mate.
lightning is def a strong point here.
I would just erase a bit of the edge of venom's left 9for us right) shoulder
so you get a better blending.
But Good job on following the tut
