What you think is irrelevant. It is incorrectly done.
And telling them what needs to be corrected isn't always a lesson in learning
leaving them to figure it out for themselves can be far more instructive.

Text is misaligned and is, in places, forced just to make the shotgun shape.
In other places he's not correctly sized the type so that two small lines of text fit nicely next to one big line, what is left is a mismatch of typesize.

The secret (and about 1% of the people who make these pieces I have seen know this secret) is to make a completely coherent sentence, reading from left to right as normal in your given shape. Therein lies the magic of your typographical piece.
