the second is the best
all of them are nice yeah but i think u need more gradient maps or topaz !!
not just texture effects and some brushes hope u understand me !!
and nice tag keep up m8

Text is a no on all of them, thats the main thing you need to improve, the character tool is more advanced in PS

So your doing right in upgrading to PS. I also started my career in Gimp, then Paint Shop Pro and finaly Photoshop.

Yeah well text is pretty hard on gimp cause every font is pixelated. And i dont have various good font etc! But i agree that i need to work on the text alooooot
And For gradient map, i cant seem to find it in gimp, i see gradient but not map, anyway!
