yeah keep the main colour of ur sigs with adjustments and to make a cinmeatic border just get the rectangle marquee tool and go across the op horizontally of the sig how ever thick u want then leave it go edit fill and do it and r done and with ur sig blend it more

This was my attempt at your tutorial. However, I found that with Red and blue in there, the smudging was too strong, especially around areas with a lot of blue. Because of this, I used the splatter brush as a mask and left the background to shine through with a gradient behind it. The adjustment layers made the gradient blend really nicely. I could have done this better but it's a nice one, I think.
