Website help!!! *Updated*
Okay, so I wanted to make my own layout for my page , I think I could make it in Photoshop, but I need to know how to:
Green is fixed and red is evil.
- Make the buttons actually link to something
- Use it as my layout (Im using blogger, if I can work all this stuff out I will buy my domain)
- Everything that is related to this and what I need to know.
- Do I have to edit my HTML everytime I put a new post on?
- Is this possible?
- How to give my text/posts an exact position? Without it moving when zooming in/out.
- When you click on 'Posts' where can I link to?I dont know how to create something like www.justphotoshopping.com/archive.html.... I hope you understand what I mean xD
This the 'Home' page, and a very similar one for the 'Posts' page. I'm not sure if I can edit About me..
And if it is possible, please help me with making it since I'm an enormous noob.
I would like a few tutorials, anything helps.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT, ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.
If I cant come anywhere, I might hire someone to do it for me.
Thanks ,
Applejuice

Yeah, you need to know html to actually code, but you can design it in ps without any need for code, that is until you want to upload it. Look on youtube for website tutorials, there are plenty there. Is it for an online portfolio?

Make the buttons actually link to something
Code:
<a href="URL" title="Caption to display on hover">Text to display</a>
Use it as my layout (Im using blogger, if I can work all this stuff out I will buy my domain)
I'm not familiar with blogger, but if it's a CMS, then you should be able to find some documentation on it on their site?
Everything that is related to this and what I need to know.
You'll want to find a good basic html/xhtml book to read up on. Tutorials are a good reference, but if you're anything like me, having something bound and printed actually helps to make things stick more, especially something like markup if you're not experienced with it.
Do I have to edit my HTML everytime I put a new post on?
If you're working with static html, then yes. If you plan on working with a CMS, then you will probably need to get a little exposure to PHP, in which case you wouldn't need to "edit" your html, so much as just posting new content. It all depends on what you're doing. If you plan on handling the entire development of your site in a text-based editor, then content won't appear unless you add it yourself :P[/LIST]
W3c has an excellent resource for basic html tutorials. http://www.w3schools.com/html/DEFAULT.asp
I'm mostly around to help if you need it, just PM me if I miss something you post.

What Solaris said, though instead of the text you input the button image.
Code:
<a href="URL" title="Caption to display on hover"><img src="Image url or source" alt="Text to display if image is broken" /></a>

I'm not sure if you can implement your own custom styles into Blogger as I have never used it.
I myself have installed Wordpress (http://wordpress.org) on my domain and implemented the style into that.
Installing Wordpress on a domain is really a piece of cake, just make sure your domain has a mysql database.
Implementing a style might take some work but isn't extremely hard. I could help you with that if you want.

If you really want to be able to do everything yourself:

You'd need to learn to use HTML and have some basic knowledge on using php.
This could take quite a lot of work though so I suggest using something like Wordpress so you can skip the php part, just learning HTML is a lot easier.

Unless you code the full site yourself without using php: No.

I'll be asking more about the buttons later, thank you, this makes me ready for now.
