1px black boarder???
How do you make a 1px line border around the canvas on photoshop? I've tried everything, I always end up doing it on fireworks.
Sounds like an easy and dumb question but it sooo frustrating. help!

Try ctrl a, edit, stroke. I think that's how. I don't use it amymore so I could be wrong.

You want to creat a new layer than grab the rectangular marquee tool( I know spelling is wrong). Then go around the whole edge of the canvas with it, and then go to edit>stroke. Make sure you have the px at 1 and the "outside" option selected.

create a new layer
crtl + alt + shift + E to apply image
edit > stroke > 1pxl black border, set it to INSIDE

This question has been asked before so, I'm gonna link you to that thread which has all the answers you need: http://www.gfxvoid.com/forums/showth...654#post470654

1) Ctrl +A, Edit>Stroke
2) Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E, Edit>Stroke
3)take the rectangular marquee tool, select whole canvas, Edit>Stroke.
Remember to select Either Inside or Center in the dialog box. If you do 3px stroke in center, you will only get 1.5px stroke.
Alternatively you can just right click>stroke, instead of Edit>stroke.
