Yea so about a couple days ago my computer harddrive crashed and is now broken. How awesome is that. Anyways, I already ordered a replacement harddrive and it should be here in a couple of days.

The only problem is that I can't burn a dvd/cd with Windows 7 on it to install on the harddrive, since the computer im on right now doesnt have the dvdr or cdr drive.

But I do have an external harddrive
The Problem I Need Solving Is: how do I install Windows 7 on a harddrive using an external hard drive? I heard from a friend of mine that I have to mount the installation file on the external hard drive (after I download Windows 7 to the external) so that BIOS can install it off the external. What do I need to do outside of downloading Windows 7 on the external?

Any help = greatly appreciated.
