That's not cool, but once they see not to many people are paying that price you will see price drops like on the current gaming systems.

That article on CNN Finance and its title is so bl**dy misleading. calculating into the price of gaming the cost of a HDTV is crazy. even they admit it in the article.

You gotta love the news for using headlines that are crap just to garner reader attention. actualy i'm suprised they're so truthful in the article, even if they do try to justify themselves, in the TV News they just say any old thing regardless of truth.

you have to remeber these people also said the it would cost 300$ as a stand alone units, instead it cost 186$.
THe add up waht would be the most profitable price for the product.

    Well they(CNN) are half right.
Yes if you don't have a HDTV then your kinda fucked but if you already have one then your cool.
But by 2007 EVERY U.S. tv will have to have HDTV or a HDTV convertor.
So if you look at it, you gotta get the shit anyway, plus it give you 100 times better experiance then a plain jane old TV.
So count your pennies and start saving up gamers, the next couples years are REALLY gonna get expensive.

i have to say... the revolution looks best out of all... the ps3 looks weird..

i reckon, they6 will all be good for different things

    ps3: Gameplay, Popularity
    xbox360: Graphics
Revolution: Innovitive ideas (touch screens etc)

but everyone will go with them in the order i have listed, because most think because most people have ps3 they will get it

    - im not bein biased here, i do support ps3 and may end up getting it but the revolution looks pretty sweet (can you tell i dontlike xbox?_

That artical is assuming your going to need to purchase a new TV, several games and the system. That's very unlikely for most people.

I think its going to be in the range of 300~ dollars for the xbox 360 and ps3. People were predicting a price tag of 500 dollars for the PSP, and its what? 300?

    I wouldn't get too worried.
