I'd recommend taking some time to look at the tags that you like, and dissecting them. Figure out what it is you like about them, and learn from that.

I generally would recommend against using too many layer effects on your type. I'm not a big of the shadow, or glow you have going on there (not really sure which)
I'd also say drop the black border. Doesn't fit the tag at all.
Needs more weight on the right side as well, it's too empty over there.

the right side seems empty mate and the sig is too bright imo.

read some tutorials and learn some great effects from there! =]
