    Hello I want to show you the signatures i made with Adobe Photoshop CS5, I'm still learning and I would like to see if I'm doing anything right.











    I'm sorry if I'm not allowed to post all of these in one thread, I'm a newb....

    All of them are pretty big. The renders dont need to fit all on the sig itself. Text needs work, and try adding some different effects besides a C4D placed in the middle. Work on it, im sure someone will give better advice then me. KIU

    Most of the time i start out with a 440x200 canvas. But I eventually crop the image and I'm not exactly sure the exact size.

    i usually do 400 x 199 and you need to work on some of your blending and effects

    Read up on some effects tutorials, some type theory, and some color theory. Those are some really good things to have from the get go.

    I advise you follow up on some tuts mates. Your blending needs work on.

    On topic, I agree with Buckley, they need to be cropped down a lil bit, the size is up to you and will vary with styles, and themes, anything bigger than 450x250 px will start to look big for a signature. try looking through the tutorial section of this forum and follow along with some tutorials to learn the steps neccesary to make stuff you want to learn how to make, begin with the basics ( composition with the rule of thirds, lighting, flow, depth, effects, and a clean focal point) The text should not direct attention away from your focal point unless the text is the main focal point.
