The stock actually was a floating head, so it's not like I cut it off like that, haha. It didn't even occur to me at the time, I was making it.

Forgot to mention, the last 3 are WIPs, so suggestions are much appreciated.

I think you're a little too heavily dependant on brushes. Nowadays whenever i use a brush its ALWAYS part of a clipping mask.
Your text in general is pretty good, but move your way towards c4ds/smudging/adjustment layers/etc.

By brushing, do you mean my soft brushing/smudging, because that's the only thing I ever really brush. If you think some of this is downloaded brushes, nope, I use all my own shit. There's a couple wingding fonts in there though.

Man, it's been so long since I've been into this kinda thing, I'm wicked rusty. Still trying to get my mind back into the rhythm.

Soft brushes = always always applicable. I'll try to break it down a little more clearly.

The monotone color brushes (if handmade, then are impressive) imo at times aren't applicable. Its most apparent on your third sig, where you tried to make a bg out of these brushes and it lacks contrast.

For example my current sig does have brushes but instead of making them only one color i made them into clipping masks with c4ds.
