The BG looks too congested to the point I can't really tell whats going on. I thinkt he blur was overdone as well and there is too much difference between the two sides of the sig. I like the texture from behind the focal on the right side. I think if you could spread a similar BG to the left you can get something cool going on.

Gonna agree with Takken on the right bg thing. Should duplicate that on the left. If you're going for depth, I'd also recommend adding a really subtle drop shadow to your text. I think with some more tweaking, and fixing of the bg, this one shows some real potential, I like where you're going with it.
