I like vectors but I'm bad at making it xp.

Difference between a Vexel and a Vector. Both are created using Adobe Photoshop or a similar application with the pen tool although the vector is made using the shape layer function of the pen tool whereas the vexel is based on raster layers.

v1 get rid of the borders though....

u used downloaded vector bushes on the foreground & the pentool on the BG.... simple concept but its ok... focal is pretty cool... looks like it fits the scene at least...

Nice use of colors and shapes mate. If you could give the BG more minimal details, it would be boss I like it though, especially some of the gradient shapes.

Vectors are something that is made using the pen tool, in photoshop, or any kind of application with vector capabilities. What they are, is lines made using mathematical formulas, which allow them to be re-rendered at different sizes, allowing for no loss of quality regardless of the size.
Vexel is more of a slang term for anything that mimics vector work, but isn't really a vector. It's rasterized, but it has that flat look that traditional vector work has.

I like v1 better, because it's cleaner. The green hill looking things in v2 don't fit. The colors of it are off, and the stroke doesn't suit it, because none of your other shapes have it. I'd stick with just the flat colors/gradients. I do like the sky you've got in v2 though, I'd just tone it down a little. You need to do more with the text, try making some sort of shapes off it, like you've got going on with your stock, just make it more dynamic, in fitting with the style.
