I like the idea of the light being behind the monkey and the wire effect looks really cool on the right hand side but theres some really quick things that can help loads when you make a sig.

The first thing is to try and get your render to blend into the background a bit more. This can be done either by smudging, though that can be tricky to get right, or by using the burn tool and gradient maps to try and blend the colours together.

The second thing is the text, this can be really really tricky so you might wanna look at some good text tutorials on deviant art or something but most of the time simple is good. Try for more basic fonts as opposed to stylized ones (dafont is a really good place to get all sorts) but unless you have a particular style going on like grunge or futuristic simple is good.
The placement of your text is pretty good though I would personally lower it just slightly so it was more in line with the bottom of his hand but otherwise its good.

Aside from that keep reading tutorials you can never have too many ideas and hints . Good job.

Draywin summed it up pretty well. I'd also say read some articles on type, color, and composition theory too. Those are big ones you should know.

Well I have been reading some guide and I made this one hoping that I had improved a little.
