Abstract space

Well, i decided to try something new, and i created an abstract space scene:

Cool, I have awesome star brush packs if I find some more.

How is that abstract?

The dark bit in the very center feels very off. So does the one in the bottom left, they don't really work with the colors.

If it's not abstract, what is it classed as?

A space picture.
Best way I can explain it off the top of my head is abstract is a representation of a concept that otherwise has no real form. Best example I can think of off the top of my head would be of an emotion.
