What do you base your votes on?

Figured this would go into the discussion section of the site, just wondering on what basis you all vote for sigs and tags, whether you think it's just appealing to you or if you actually look at the signature and tag closely to evaluate its strengths and weaknesses.

I base it on how I like it personaly. I also look at the overall quality and see how well it's executed. The first impression is very important.

I try to look at what I think looks best at first, but as everyone has a different opinion on whats nice I then look at how they incorporated flow, lighting, composition etc.

i like which ever appeals to me the best. i dont look at anything specific since im not even good enough to make anything that cool. so i dont judge it on that

whatever is best and appealing at the same time, something could have a really strong compo, but looks crap cause they messed up the colours. I look for something that has strengths but still looks good.

Mainly the first impression each one gives because that's most likely never going to change anyway.

i first see which one i like and then see if he did any work on it.
there could be someone, he has the best sig ever, but he just slapped a stock and there coulbe someone else who spent 3-4 hours doing great stuff, but the outcome isnt nice.

What ever appeal to me the most I usaually vote for, but I also look for nice lighting, colors, etc
