    Hm for a first its not bad. The Photo looks pretty LQ tho and the text is kind of just placed there. Need to blend the text in. Also I would do more to it then have a Photo background and text. It needs more to it.

    fur,i appreciate the good word man,i really need to hear that 2 keep me motivated.tha pic isn't lq at all it just got a bit fucked up when i re-sized it to 500x500.

    i'm still new 2 photoshop.i have photoshop cs4.how do u blend tha text to tha pic?

    not sure what elles 2 add 2 tha background,got a suggestion?

    i wanna improve this design 2 get a hang off designing and to get tha creative juice flowing.

    Did you resize it holding the shift key? about the background...it's okay.
    Sharpen it a little, mess with the color settings...you know, the usual!
    Fur was saying (I think...) that overall, the cover is lacking in variety.
    There's really not much there other than BG + Text.

    Add more!

    lol.. looks like the text itself is LQ too. When placing text, there are diiferent settings:
    sharp, strong etc.. try the different settings for your text..

    Usually just lowering the opacity of the text blends it in a little. I I would just mess around a little with the opacity.
    As the ideas go idk, ive never really done a CD cover before. I can link some really good CD covers to you for a general idea on how they should look.
