I wasn't sure how to make it less "flat"... I am at a loss for ideas on that. If anyone has any ideas let me know i saved multiple psd's.

i would try blending in the render more and maybe try colors that's in the render stock . then try add some special effects then make a new layer apply image then filter blur gaussian blur erase the focal with soft round brush . then new layer apply image again and use the filter paint daub set brush size 1 sharpness 1 brush type simple . then hit ok then in layers select the paint daubs layer set opacity to like 13 or 20 then try a new ajustment layer photo filter on default learn that part from bloodgod , then go to filter other high pass i set mine to 34.5 then hit ok then set to soft light .mess with the opacity to what u think is right learn this from silent assasin .

hey! never thought to use any photo filters on this guy!! here i added what you said! helped alot! but still i need to find some resources i guess. it needs some foreground work imo.
