BG and compo needs work. Text technique's idea is good but work more on it. Try renders w/ "expression" in their faces. it adds the Xfactor to the tag. try some more colors and introduce some more colors and blend them. KIU mate

Try to add in a lence flare, for nice blending around the render.

Smudge tool Broooo!!!!!
This is a wicked piece! v2 colours look great, smudge that badboy up, give it some texture!
Maybe chuck in some small C4D set em to screen, blend them in abit!
Text is okay, dont think its needed IMO

I need smudging brushes i suck at smudging i always use a round brush

Get a soft brush, edit the brush settings!! thats what i do I dont have any particular brushes I just use default and fiddle about with the settings, Im sure there is a tut that includes the brush settings for some smudging!
Give it a go, I'd love to see a V3

pretty nice, but I like v1 better then 2:/
And photoshop also comes with other brush sets like sqaure brushes and such.. maybe that would help with the smudging? Also you should just put on scatter and make the settings optimal wich is great method for smudging
