Look at how many competitions we have on this website versus the active users. The best thing I can suggest for a beginner is to look for another beginner and challenge them directly in our battlegrounds. That way you can choose someone who you think will give you a run for your money.

I don't think there are enough people at "beginner" level to have an official competition for. If we did that, than what is stopping from people wanting a one for each level?

I might give the SotW a go, and chances are I won't win, I normally make my art without thinking about size limitations, or using a rectangle, or other type of container, unless it is to be a printed.


PS: I love your current tag, it needs a lot of work, but still looks great. : )

1st. about what domino said that when u win the bsotw u get a promotion to the sotw. but than u still get all the better tag desingers in the bsotw so.
And i think the sotw already made a big stap that they dont display names on the tag's anymore. Evry member will be better trough the time some take 3 monts and some 2 weeks but if they feel ready then they can join the sotw right? like it has always been that way i guess :P The way the sotw runs now is great. if members join they hope to get some votes an next time even more and if they dont got any it means that they have to go with an other style. and if they do get votes and improve their style they may even win the sotw. So i dont think this bsotw will work..

No, because then it makes it even harder for Radillac to make 2 ribbons per week and its the fact that SOTW is for anyone that wants to enter, I am a beginner but I'm advancing into higher stages I think.. But how can you know if I'm being dishonest and I'm a high novice artist?

That was a bit uncalled for but anyways, I've become used to it.

Here's the deal then. I've already made a topic in the mod forum about this and we're going to discuss it amongst ourselves and at the same time keep an eye on this topic. What I myself may be willing to do is run this at some point on a trial basis only to see how it works out, if at all.
