Eb got illy!

so i got adobe illustrator cs5 yesterday, and i figured it would be fun/constructive to document my progress, feeling the program out and such, so i'll be posting all the things i make in here, and see if we can see some improvement
Firstly i just messed around with the pen tool, and i didn't save it, i haven't really used many of the tools yet, but the pen tool seems like the "biggie" imo.

Here's my first attempt at "something", was gonna be a silly gift to SA but turned out too shit to be worth it :L



Second attempt, i looked up some monkey cartoons and copied one:


(yes, i'm aware of the spaces between different peices :$)

Anyways, will be cool too see if i get better

Yeah, i've been using illy for like five minutes and have though loads of times "i wish i had a tablet! :L

the brush tool in illy is awesome, but tbh you really need a tablet to make full use of it
