    Default My first smudge.


    Yeah, I don't know how I've never done a smudge signature in x amount of years i've been using photoshop, lol. Can't say I'll be doing much of this in the future though.

    well you seem to have a certain amount of talent for the smudgetool, so i say do some moh!

    Contrast is too much. I like the smudging.

    i like what you have done, i love my smudging :P but i agree with ejbonagua about the contrast, also i would try puttng a bit of jitter on your brush tool and lowering the opacity and go around some of the edges of the render a bit more, it will blend it nicely

    Yeah, I agree. I went ahead and uploaded 2 new versions without so much contrast. Thanks for the comments.

    I did the smudging around the edges of the render, but I went about it a bit differently. I dup'ed the render and placed it on top of the original render, and smudged the dup'd one. Thanks for the comment and the tips.

    No, but I didn't like the way the colors were matching up with the render, so I added a curves layer. I also wanted the eyes to pop a lot more.

    Looks pretty good bro. I would leave smudging alone though. The bandwagon is overcrowded.
