    I think my problem is when I hit ctrl g my gradient doesnt disappear ctrl g makes a group and all my layers are under it but nothing happens

    I figured out the problem you told me to press ctrl g and that makes a new group for me but what I needed to do was make a clipping mask so next time can we just say clipping mask instead of ctrl g plz
