Sometimes text can ruin a signature..it's not really necessary^. Background is good but a bit empty. Lighting yes could use more work, and the face looks a bit oversharpened. Other than that, it's cool ;D.

I like the kind of smudgy version, I think some epic text would help it a lot, but its pretty good.

Yeah work on your lighting, depth, and if your gona smudge try to make it flow. And you don't always need to put text in your tags, I haven't in a while. Tbo text rarely ever looks good on tags anyway. Not too bad, keep at it.
