Looks good, background gives good depth. Just a bit of blending with the ground and lighting near it that I don't like. Nice idea.

but anyways, this is pretty nice :P blending is slightly off with the focal imo, and i think you should lower the opacity of the text a lot.

even though it is black and white it can open up.
I have seen 100's of black and white sigs.
The main reason why I feel it to be monotone is that there is requirement of a lot of blending. More It is blended less it will be monotonous.
