    Default Smudge Help

Okay, since smudge is my strongest point, i decided i want to devote more time to it so i am trying out styles of smudging, im trying to achieve what i saw in a tag from CS4Pro. I believe it was a Kanye tag and the smudging was just awesome. Either way tell me what you think, i want suggestions on my smudging and i tried to see what i could do with a weird render so whatever CnC please.

Oh, and my other object was to achieve smooth blending between the BG and Render

    seems too mono..
Smudge is alright, but you should learn some more complicated techniques with smudge.
Also, im pretty sure, Cs4 in the kanye added a lot more vibrant color from where the render comes

Looks like a case of floating head syndrome, maybe try keeping some more of the render. Aside from that, the smudging looks good, it creates nice flow.

Really basic, and normally basic signatures can be good in certain times but if it is a basic smudge signature then it will seem really bland or empty like this one.

    It is also really mono.
