Your lighting looks very forced.
Try not to rely purely on a white soft brush for your lighting
Try to use filters>render>lighting effects. This helps a lot in making good lighting as well as using burn and dodge tool.
And brushes and c4ds are allowed to be used as long as you have consent from the creator. You can bet that all brush packs you can use however some c4ds may need to be asked to be used first
